Accreditation

Virscend University is in the process of applying for accreditation from Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. It is a regional accrediting agency serving public and private higher education institutions throughout California, Hawaii, and the Pacific as well as a limited number of institutions outside the U.S. The purpose of the Commission is to encourage continuous institutional improvement towards the Commission’s Core Commitment and Standards of Accreditation. In so doing, WSCUC reviews and evaluates an institutions programs to ensure that the programs are up to par with the expectations of a highly qualified program. During the process of accreditation the Commission evaluates the institutions administrative practices and programs based on established criteria. It is a huge honor for a school to receive accreditation, so our team of staff and faculty is working diligently to obtain an official seal of approval from WASC.
